This big tree provided a backdrop for a photo of Ralph, Carol, Dea, Mary, and Melvin. It is at the dividing line between where La Antigua was buried by a mudslide in 1934 and where the mudslide quit. Half of the city was destroyed, including residents. New Ocotepeque was where the people who survived moved to.
